Financial Coaching

We provide free financial coaching sessions to University of Illinois System students & employees.

Questions about credit, banking, budgeting, job benefits, or other financial topics? Request a financial coaching session by completing our online form.

Group Workshops

Want to request a workshop for your student group or class? Visit our online form to request a workshop or check out a list of our pre-packaged workshops here.

Please note SMMC's Workshop Request Policy: Requests must be provided at least 3 weeks in advance, and all SMMC workshops require a minimum of 10 guaranteed participants or 10 registrations at least 24 hours in advance of the workshop.

  • Student – Being a student is difficult. Make it easier by staying in the know about your finances. Our student e-newsletter highlights important events and financial tips for succeeding in college and beyond! 
  • Employee – Academic advisor? Office support specialist? Instructor? Whatever your title, helping students growth and development is an important part of the job. Our staff/faculty e-newsletter focuses on spreading awareness of students' financial issues and important opportunities for you to support a financially savvy student population. 
  • Parent – Parents have a unique role in a college student's transition into the world of adulthood. Supporting students starts at home, and this e-newsletter is meant to help you facilitate learning by providing as many financial resources as possible.
